“Grandpa, Grandpa… Where are you?”

Thirteen years old Jake shouted loudly while running around the home.

Jake Hamilton is a stubborn but poor boy who didn’t see his parents even for once in his entire lifetime. If he needs something, he will take it no matter how much it costs.

“I am here son, what is it?” Eighty three years old his grandpa said in a trembling voice.

“I need 20 bucks”

“20 bucks?  For what?” Grandpa, asked surprisingly.

“I don’t ask for money, if there is no reason. You know me, don’t you? Hurry up! I am getting late.”

“Okay wait a minute son.” Grandpa went to the room slowly and came back with a torn wallet.

“Here you go! Please use it wisely.”

“Thank you, Grandpa you are the best” Jake hugged him tight and ran to the bus stop.

(Grandpa Sighs)

Milano Hamilton is a Carpenter who is living with this aggressive boy. Boy thinks that he is his Grandpa, but that’s not the truth. Milano raised him for years until now  without any expectation.

“Hey, do you bring money Jake?”  Jake’s friend Tan asked in whisper.

“Yeah, Here” Jake gave the money to Tan.

“Wow! You are the man. I only have 10 bucks. Mom didn’t give me much money! You are so lucky to have such a nice Grandpa.”

“Yeah, I truly am. Sometimes I might be rude to him but anyway I love him so much. He knows it. He is the all I have” Jake said in a broken voice.

“Let’s go and grab some drink. Now we have enough money, don’t we?” Tan said in a delightful voice.

“Okay then.” Jake followed him.

Meanwhile, Milano was thinking about a way to get some money. He needs to get some foods for the child and also his medicine as well. He couldn’t be able to complete his job well in these days because he is suffering from a bad shoulder ache. He only had 20 bucks with him, but he gave it to the child without thinking twice.

“Hey Milano, are u still not doing the job? I need to sew this couple of shoes urgently. Can u do it?” Philip Reckner broke the silence, who was a childhood friend of Milano’s. He always takes some orders to the Milano and give a chance to earn some money.

“Yeah Phil. I am glad to help you. At what time you want them back?”

“Tomorrow morning Mil”

“Sure, I will definitely do that. Thank you.”

“No worries at all. See u then” Philip went by patting Milano’s shoulder.

“Grand Pa, I am back!”

“Hey, How was the day Jake?”

“Much better”

“I am glad Jake”

“Why are you sewing those shoes in a hurry. Do it slowly grandpa don’t get stress”

“It’s little bit urgent son. Don’t think about that, I have already prepared the dinner for u. Go and eat them. Then do your homework”

“Okay grandpa.” Jake went to the kitchen without asking whether the grandpa has eaten or not.

Milano didn’t get his dinner because there was not enough food for two of them. So he continues his working.

“Milano, Are u there?” Philip Reckner was calling in front of the door.

“Hey Phil Good morning”

“Good Morning Mil. Have u finished it”

“Yes of course. Let me bring them.” Milano walked in to the room in a hurry and came back with a bag.

“Here it is” Milano gave the bag to Philip.

“Oh my god Mil, you are still energetic as a young boy. A part of my mind didn’t think you’d finish it. Anyway that’s impressive my man. I will bring some more orders.” Philip said in a satisfied voice.

“Thank you Phil, I am glad as always”

“How much is it?” Philip asked by taking his wallet from the back pocket,

“I can’t say a price. Give me some” Milano gave an innocent answer.

“No No that’s not fair, tell me a price please”

“Mmm… well give me 50 bucks”

“What? 50 bucks only?  For this whole package? Are you insane?”

“No no that’s enough”

“Here you have 200 bucks I think this is fair. If not let me know. I am getting late, I gotta go. See u later”

Jake heard the whole story and he saw that his grandpa received 200 bucks, so he thought to ask for some.

“Jake, I am going to the fair and hospital. I will come quickly. Until then stay safe son.” Grandpa shouted loudly.

“Oh is that so? That means u have some money with u, don’t u?” Jake asked with a smile.

“Yeah son do you want something”

“No no , I need 50 bucks for the school tomorrow. And also 30 bucks for get some accessories.”

Grandpa looked down and sighed,

“Okay son here u have 100 bucks I don’t have change. So keep the rest to the next time, will u?” Grandpa asked by touching Jake’s head.

“Of course why wouldn’t I. Thank u Grandpa”

“Mmm.. “ Grandpa smiled.

“Jake, Can you bring me some water?” Milano came with a tired looking and sat on the floor.

“Here you go!” Jake brought a glass of water to grandpa and started talking.

“Did you get the medicine Grandpa?” Jake asked.

“Ah.. Nah son. I wish I could but the doctor was not there. So I came. I’ll go in next week.” Milano lied.

He went to the weekly fair and bought many foods which are favorite of Jake. And then he didn’t have enough money to go to the hospital. So he came without going to the hospital. But he didn’t want to hurt Jake, because of that he lied about it.

“Okay Grandpa” Jake said.

“Grandpa, I am going to school” Jake shouted loudly with a hurry.

“Okay son, Study well” Grandpa said while napping on his bed.

“Why are you sound like so sick? Is everything okay? Should I come?”

“No No. Don’t worry about me. I just felt little bit dizzy. Take care of yourself”

“Okay then Grandpa.  I’ll see u in the afternoon. Bye-Bye” Jake ran to the road.

“Wait… What?” Jake said to himself surprisingly.

In his home there is a huge crowd, People are chattering and whispering here and there, he didn’t understand the reason behind that. But some part of him has felt like something which is really bad has happened.

“Grandpa.. Grandpa” Jake shouted loudly.  But there was no response.

“Why are y’all here? Is anything happened? Jake asked surprisingly.

Then he saw the dead body of his beloved grandpa. For a moment he was shocked and then he lost his control.

“OMG…..what happened. You cannot leave me like this. Why would u do that, I am your son Jake. Please open your eyes, don’t play with me..” Jake cried over and over again but nothing has changed, his grandpa didn’t open his eyes.

“Hey Jake, this was in his hands. It’s for you.” A police officer gave a little letter to Jake.

Jake opened it.

“JAKE,

MY NAKED PAIN” That’s all. Jake didn’t recognize what did he tried to say. He thinks over and over but nothing came to his mind.

(After three days of the funeral Jake heard a baby crying he went where the sound came. There was a newly born baby with some people. Jake though that they might have come on a picnic. And the baby was in naked and crying over and over. “Naked” and “pain”. He just realized the thing his grandpa was about to tell him he ran to the home.

“There you are” He took the childhood photo of his grandpa which was on the table. In that photo the baby Milano was naked and crying. It means naked and pain.

Then he turn back the photo and he saw a letter there. He took it and stared reading it.

Dear Son.

 I hope you’ll miss me when u read this letter. First of all I want to tell u that you are not my grandson and I am not your grandparent. I have never married in my life. One day  I was in hunting then I  heard a baby crying, I went there and see you in the forest., you were naked and pain too I don’t know what I felt but I didn’t want to leave u there. So I brought u to my little home and raised u until now.

Now I am gone, but u has to live. Don’t think about me it’s all in the past.

This is your account number. I have no idea how much money I have saved for u but I saved since the day I met u. but I didn’t look the balance even for once because if I did, then I would take them whenever we need money. I know that you didn’t use the money I gave u wisely because u knew that u have me. But now the situation is changed. So use all of them wisely. Now I am not there and you are all alone. Actually you are NAKED and PAIN for the second time

Jake found himself with tears he didn’t want to live anymore. But he learned a lesson from this. He went to the mirror and look at himself.

“Yes grandpa,  I am naked and pain. You are absolutely correct. But now your son has changed, I will use this every single cent wisely. Thank u for everything you have done for me. I wish I could told this even for once”.

After three years Jake became the world most famous entrepreneur because he studied hard and as soon as he had out from the school then he started his own business and succeed. Grandpa showed him his naked pain and Jake, win over that Naked Pain.
